My self-portrait is a drawing of me sitting on a couch with one of my younger sisters sitting on the floor playing with toys. This goes with my story because I describe how I started being more independent and being more mature when my youngest sister was born. In the picture, I'm reading and doing homework. I chose to shade out the faces in the picture because it could be a situation for anyone. In the picture my sister is playing with blocks even though she's ten and blocks are normally a baby's' toy is because she's the baby out of all the kids.

  1. This is a very personal piece that you felt describes you the best way that you can and I agree it does make you look your best

  2. I enjoy that you decided to draw your self portrait, I think it gives the piece a more personal touch. I also enjoy that you didn't make the artwork too specific to yourself so it could still relate to others.
